Candela GentleMax Pro
A dual-wavelength laser by Candela that combines a 755nm Alexandrite laser and a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser in one machine. The specialist switches wavelength to suit your skin tone and hair, even between body areas in the same session.
- How it works: laser light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle, heating it to reduce regrowth.
- Comfort: the Dynamic Cooling Device sprays a burst of cryogen just before each pulse.
- Skin types: Fitzpatrick I–VI, using 755nm for lighter skin and 1064nm for darker skin.
- Used for: laser hair removal on the face and body for women and men, and carbon laser facials.
Quanta System Duetto MT EVO
A dual-wavelength laser platform made in Italy by Quanta System. Like the GentleMax Pro, it pairs a 755nm Alexandrite laser with a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser, with settings matched to your skin tone and hair type.
- How it works: two laser wavelengths target the hair follicle at different depths, so settings can be matched to fine or coarse hair.
- Speed: built for efficient coverage of large areas such as the legs, back and chest.
- Skin types: lighter to deeper skin tones, with the wavelength chosen after a skin assessment.
- Used for: laser hair removal for women and men, including full body, and carbon laser facials.

MNRF: microneedling radiofrequency
MNRF combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. Very fine needles enter the skin and release controlled heat beneath the surface, which encourages the skin to produce new collagen while the surface stays largely intact.
- How it works: needle depth and RF energy are adjusted for each area, so treatment can be tailored to thin or thicker skin.
- Used for: acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, fine lines and mild skin laxity.
- What to expect: redness and small marks for a few days.
- Course: usually a series of sessions a few weeks apart.
XERF by Cynosure Lutronic
XERF is a needle-free monopolar radiofrequency device. It uses two RF frequencies to heat the skin at different depths, encouraging collagen remodelling for skin that looks firmer and smoother over the following weeks.
- How it works: RF energy warms the deeper layers of skin through a handpiece moved over the treatment area. No needles or incisions.
- Used for: mild to moderate skin laxity on the face, jawline and neck, fine lines and selected body areas.
- What to expect: a warm sensation during treatment, with most people returning to normal activities the same day.
- Results: develop gradually as new collagen forms. Results vary.

Oxy Touch Pro facial system
The Oxy Touch Pro is a multi-function facial system. Water-based exfoliation with gentle suction cleanses pores and lifts away dead skin, then nourishing serums are infused to hydrate. Additional handpieces can be added to suit your skin.
- How it works: cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate in one session, with serums chosen for your skin.
- Used for: dull, congested or dehydrated skin, enlarged pores and a fresh glow before an event.
- What to expect: a relaxing treatment with no downtime, so you can go straight back to your day.
- Suitable for: most skin types, including sensitive skin, after a skin check.

Which device is used for laser hair removal?
We use two dual-wavelength lasers for hair removal: the Candela GentleMax Pro and the Quanta System Duetto MT EVO.
Both combine 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelengths. Your specialist chooses the device and settings for your skin type, hair and treatment area after a skin assessment.
What is MNRF and what does it treat?
MNRF is microneedling combined with radiofrequency energy. It is used for acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture and fine lines.
Fine needles deliver controlled heat beneath the skin's surface to encourage new collagen.
What is the difference between MNRF and XERF?
MNRF uses fine needles to deliver radiofrequency into the skin, while XERF is needle-free and heats the skin from the surface.
MNRF is usually chosen for scars, pores and texture. XERF is usually chosen for skin firmness and mild laxity. Some plans combine both, spaced over several weeks.
Is there downtime after these treatments?
It depends on the device. Oxy Touch Pro facials and XERF usually have little or no downtime, while MNRF can leave redness and small marks for a few days.
Laser hair removal may cause mild redness for a few hours. Your specialist will explain aftercare for your treatment.
Are these treatments suitable for darker skin?
Many are, with the right settings. For laser hair removal, the 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength is suitable for darker skin, Fitzpatrick types IV–VI.
For skin treatments, your specialist assesses your skin first and chooses the treatment and settings to suit it.
