The treatment

What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is a medical-grade facial that combines exfoliation, pore extraction and serum infusion in one treatment. It uses patented Vortex-Fusion technology, which works like a gentle vacuum: it lifts away dead skin and congestion while delivering hydrating serums at the same time.

Unlike a manual facial, there is no squeezing or harsh scrubbing, so skin usually looks brighter straight away rather than red. At Laser & More, treatments use a genuine HydraFacial system, and boosters can be added for pigmentation or fine lines.

Concerns a HydraFacial targets

  • Fine lines
  • Loss of elasticity
  • Uneven tone
  • Congested pores
  • Blackheads
  • Excess oil
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Heat & pollution damage

How does a HydraFacial work?

A HydraFacial works in three steps performed back to back with one handpiece: Cleanse + Peel, Extract + Hydrate, then Fuse + Protect. Each step uses a different tip and serum, so your skin is resurfaced, decongested and replenished in a single appointment, with no recovery time needed.

STEP 01

Cleanse + Peel

A resurfacing tip and gentle exfoliating solution loosen dead cells and surface oil to reveal fresher skin underneath.

STEP 02

Extract + Hydrate

Vortex suction draws out blackheads and debris from pores, while moisturising serums flood the skin with hydration.

STEP 03

Fuse + Protect

Antioxidants and peptides are infused to help defend skin against Dubai's heat, sun and pollution.

Benefits

Why book a HydraFacial in Dubai?

A HydraFacial suits anyone whose skin feels congested, dehydrated or dull, which is common after long days between air conditioning and outdoor heat. It gives a visible glow the same day, needs no recovery, and fits easily into a lunch break or the day before an event.

No downtime

Go straight back to work or your plans, with skin that looks fresh rather than red.

Clearer pores

Suction extraction clears blackheads and oil without manual squeezing.

Deep hydration

Serums replenish skin dried out by air conditioning and sun.

More even tone

Regular sessions help soften dullness and mild uneven pigmentation.

Gentle on sensitive skin

Often suitable for sensitive or redness-prone skin, after assessment.

Event-ready glow

Popular before weddings, photos and travel.

On the day

What happens during a HydraFacial appointment?

Your first HydraFacial starts with a short skin assessment, then the three-step treatment itself. Most clients find it relaxing, with a cool, gentle suction feeling and no pain. You leave with SPF applied, simple aftercare advice and a suggested date for your next session.

STEP 01

Skin assessment

Esra reviews your skin, routine and goals, and checks for anything that means waiting.

STEP 02

Personalised serums

Serums and any boosters are chosen for your main concern.

STEP 03

Three-step treatment

Cleanse + Peel, Extract + Hydrate and Fuse + Protect, one after another.

STEP 04

SPF and next steps

SPF 50+ is applied and your next visit is planned 4–6 weeks ahead.

HydraFacial or medical facial: which should I choose?

Choose a HydraFacial when you want a reliable, same-day glow and clearer pores with no downtime. Choose a medical facial when one concern, such as breakouts or pigmentation, needs targeted products. Many clients alternate the two, and your specialist can recommend the right mix.

Preparation & aftercare

How should I prepare for a HydraFacial?

Pause retinoids and strong acid products for about 48 hours before your HydraFacial, avoid sunburn in the days beforehand, and leave two weeks after injectables. Afterwards, keep skin hydrated, wear SPF 50+ and save heavy makeup for the next morning.

Before your HydraFacial

  • Stop retinoids and AHA products 48 hours before
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 3 days
  • Wait 2 weeks after anti-wrinkle injections or fillers
  • Tell us about any medication, cold sores or skin conditions

After your HydraFacial

  • Drink water and use a light moisturiser
  • Apply SPF 50+ every morning and reapply outdoors
  • Skip heavy makeup until the next morning
  • Avoid saunas and exfoliating products for a day or two

Results

How long do HydraFacial results last?

Most people see brighter, smoother and more hydrated skin straight after one HydraFacial, although that first glow is temporary. Longer-term changes to pores, tone and fine lines build with regular sessions every 4–6 weeks, which is why we plan HydraFacials as ongoing maintenance.

Results vary with age, skin type, home care and sun exposure. For deeper pigmentation or acne scarring, a HydraFacial works best alongside targeted treatments such as chemical peels or microneedling.

FAQs

HydraFacial FAQs

Answers from our skin team. See all FAQs for more.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

We recommend a HydraFacial every 4–6 weeks, roughly in line with your skin's natural renewal cycle.

A single session is fine before an event, but regular treatments give the best long-term results.

Is there any downtime after a HydraFacial?

No. There is zero downtime, and most people look slightly glowy rather than red afterwards.

We suggest waiting until the next morning before wearing heavy makeup.

Is a HydraFacial good for acne-prone skin?

It can help with blackheads, congested pores and excess oil, which often contribute to breakouts.

Inflamed or cystic acne is assessed first, and we may suggest an acne treatment plan instead.

Can I have a HydraFacial if I have sensitive skin?

Often, yes. HydraFacial is gentle and is commonly used on sensitive and redness-prone skin.

We assess your skin first and adjust the serums, or recommend waiting if your skin is irritated.

Can I have a HydraFacial after anti-wrinkle injections or fillers?

Yes, but wait about two weeks after anti-wrinkle injections or fillers before your HydraFacial.

This gives the treated areas time to settle. Tell us about any recent treatments when you book.

How much does a HydraFacial cost in Dubai?

The cost depends on the treatment area, the number of sessions and what your plan includes, so we don't publish a fixed price list.
