What is skin rejuvenation?
Skin rejuvenation is a course of non-surgical treatments that improves skin quality: how smooth, even and radiant it looks. Instead of one big procedure, small controlled sessions prompt your skin to shed dull cells and produce fresh collagen, so improvements build steadily over several weeks.
It suits skin that looks tired, rough or uneven in any decade. If your main goal is a longer-term plan for lines and firmness as you age, see our anti-aging treatment programme.
What rejuvenation improves
- Rough texture
- Dullness
- Uneven tone
- Visible pores
- Shallow scars
- Early fine lines
Three ways to renew skin
How does skin rejuvenation in Dubai work?
Skin rejuvenation works by creating a small, controlled trigger, such as micro-channels, gentle heat or exfoliation, that prompts the skin to repair itself. That repair response renews the surface and stimulates collagen. We use three main methods, often combined in one course.
Microneedling
Dermapen creates fine micro-channels that trigger collagen induction, refining texture, pores and shallow scars.
Dermapen microneedlingEnergy devices
Laser facials use light energy to brighten, tighten pores and gently warm the skin.
Carbon laser facialChemical peels
Controlled exfoliation removes dull surface cells to reveal smoother, more even skin.
Chemical peelsWho is skin rejuvenation for?
Skin rejuvenation suits adults whose skin looks dull, rough or uneven, or who notice pores and early lines becoming more visible. It is also a good reset for skin dehydrated by air conditioning and sun. Methods and strength are adjusted for darker skin to keep the risk of pigment changes low.
- Dull or tired-looking skin
- Rough texture or visible pores
- Shallow acne scars once breakouts have settled
- Uneven tone from sun exposure
When to wait
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active acne, cold sores or broken skin
- Recent sunburn or a fresh tan
- Recent isotretinoin use
What does a skin rejuvenation course look like?
A typical rejuvenation course starts with a skin analysis, then a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart so collagen has time to rebuild between them. Methods can alternate, for example microneedling one visit and a peel or laser facial the next, followed by light maintenance to hold results.

Preparation & aftercare
How should I prepare for skin rejuvenation?
Arrive with calm, untanned skin and pause retinoids and strong acids for a few days before, as your specialist advises. After each session, keep skincare simple, avoid heat and direct sun, and wear SPF 50 every day so fresh skin stays even.
Before a session
- Pause retinoids and acids as advised
- Avoid tanning and sunburn
- Tell us about medication and recent treatments
- Skip makeup on the day if you can
After a session
- Gentle cleanser and moisturiser only
- SPF 50 daily and reapply outdoors
- No saunas, steam or hard workouts for a day or two
- Let any flaking shed naturally
Results
When will I see results from skin rejuvenation?
Many people notice brighter, smoother skin within days of a session as the surface renews. Collagen changes take longer and continue to build for weeks after each treatment, so the full effect of a course shows gradually. Results vary with age, skin type, sun exposure and home care.
Protecting your results mostly comes down to daily SPF and a consistent routine.

Is skin rejuvenation the same as anti-aging treatment?
They overlap, but skin rejuvenation focuses on texture, tone and glow at any age, using a short course of treatments.
Our anti-aging programme is a longer-term plan for lines and firmness by decade.
Which rejuvenation treatment is best for me?
It depends on your main concern. Microneedling suits texture and scars, peels suit dullness and tone, and laser facials suit pores and oiliness.
Esra recommends the mix after your skin analysis.
Is there downtime after skin rejuvenation?
It ranges from none to about two weeks, depending on the treatment and its strength.
Microneedling redness can last a few days, sometimes up to a week. Light peels may cause redness and flaking for 1–7 days, and medium peels typically need 7–14 days; lighter treatments usually don't.
Does skin rejuvenation tighten skin?
It can improve firmness modestly by supporting collagen, but it won't lift sagging skin like surgery.
For volume loss, a doctor may discuss injectable options separately.
Can men have skin rejuvenation?
Yes. Men often choose it for visible pores, rough texture and oily skin.
Treatments are adjusted around beard areas and thicker skin.
How much does skin rejuvenation cost in Dubai?
The cost depends on the treatment area, the number of sessions and what your plan includes, so we don't publish a fixed price list.
