Anti-Wrinkle Treatment in Dubai: a plan for every type of line
Anti-wrinkle treatment works best as a plan, not a single appointment. At Laser & More Clinic, a DHA-licensed aesthetic clinic in Al Rashidiya, Dubai, DHA-licensed doctor Dr. Bahar combines muscle-relaxing injections with skin boosters, chemical peels and microneedling, treating both the movement behind lines and the skin they form in. Results vary.

What is an anti-wrinkle treatment plan?
An anti-wrinkle treatment plan is a sequence of treatments chosen for your lines, skin and budget. Injections soften the muscle movement that folds the skin, while skin treatments improve hydration, texture and collagen, so lines that remain are shallower and less noticeable.
If you only want expression lines relaxed, anti-wrinkle injections on their own may be enough. A plan suits you better if lines stay visible at rest, your skin looks dry or crepey, or you'd like to slow the formation of new lines.
What a plan can include
- Anti-wrinkle injections
- Skin boosters
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- Medical facials
- SPF & home care

Dynamic vs static wrinkles: what's the difference?
Dynamic wrinkles appear only when you make an expression, such as frowning or smiling. Static wrinkles stay visible when your face is relaxed, because repeated creasing, sun and collagen loss have etched them into the skin. Most people over 35 have both, which is why a combined plan often helps.
| Dynamic wrinkles | Static wrinkles | |
|---|---|---|
| When you see them | Only during expressions | At rest, even with a relaxed face |
| Main cause | Repeated muscle contraction | Collagen loss, sun damage, dehydration and years of creasing |
| Common areas | Forehead, frown lines, crow's feet | Forehead, around the eyes and mouth, cheeks |
| What usually helps | Anti-wrinkle injections | Injections plus skin boosters, microneedling or peels; sometimes filler |
| Speed of change | Softening within about 1–2 weeks | Gradual improvement over several months |
Who it's for
Who is anti-wrinkle treatment in Dubai suited to?
Anti-wrinkle treatment suits adults aged 18 and over who want to soften existing lines or slow down new ones. The right mix depends on your stage: prevention-focused plans in your late 20s and 30s look very different from plans for deeper, established lines in your 40s and 50s.
Early prevention
Lines that linger after expressions, plus sun exposure you want to get ahead of.
First fine lines
Light injections with hydration treatments to keep skin smooth and fresh.
Etched lines at rest
Collagen-building treatments alongside injections for gradual softening.
Lines with volume loss
Folds from lost volume may need dermal fillers as part of the plan.
Prevention
Should I start anti-wrinkle treatment in my 20s or 30s?
You don't need to, but some people choose to start in their late 20s or 30s, when expression lines begin to linger after the face relaxes. Low doses can reduce repeated creasing, while daily SPF and skin treatments protect collagen. The doctor will tell you honestly if you'd be better off waiting.
- Daily broad-spectrum SPF, the foundation of any plan in Dubai's sun
- Light, well-spaced injections only where lines are forming
- Peels or microneedling to support texture and collagen

How is an anti-wrinkle plan put together?
Every plan starts with a consultation and skin assessment with a DHA-licensed doctor. Movement lines are addressed first, skin quality is built up over the following weeks, and the plan is reviewed so treatments are only repeated when they're needed.
Assess
Medical history, skin type and your lines at rest and in motion.
Review & maintain
Top-ups when lines return, plus home care and SPF.
Preparation & aftercare
How do I prepare for, and look after my skin during, a plan?
Before a plan, tell the doctor about your medication, skincare and any recent sun exposure, because some peels and microneedling need active ingredients paused. During the plan, protect your skin from the sun every day and follow the specific aftercare for each treatment.
Before you start
- Share medication, supplements and allergies
- Pause retinoids or exfoliants if advised
- Avoid tanning before peels or microneedling
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before injections
During your plan
- Apply SPF 50 every morning, even indoors near windows
- No rubbing or intense exercise for 24 hours after injections
- Expect redness and flaking after peels: 1–7 days for light, typically 7–14 for medium
- Keep skin hydrated with the products recommended
Results
What results can I expect, and how long do they last?
Expression lines usually soften within one to two weeks of injections, and that effect typically lasts 3–4 months. Skin-quality improvements build more slowly over several months and can be maintained with occasional sessions. Results vary with age, skin type, sun exposure and lifestyle.
We'll never promise a wrinkle-free face. The aim is skin that looks rested, smoother and still like you.

How is an anti-wrinkle plan different from injections alone?
Injections relax the muscles behind expression lines; a plan also improves the skin itself with boosters, peels or microneedling.
That matters most for lines visible at rest, dullness and crepey texture, which injections alone don't fully address.
Can I prevent wrinkles in my 20s?
You can't stop ageing, but daily SPF, good skincare and, for some people, low-dose injections can slow the formation of lines.
The doctor will only suggest injections if lines are already starting to linger.
What are skin boosters?
Skin boosters are tiny injections of hyaluronic acid placed in the skin to improve hydration and fine texture.
They don't add volume like fillers. We offer skin boosters at the clinic, and HydraFacial boosters as part of a HydraFacial; the doctor recommends the type for your skin at consultation.
Can static wrinkles be treated?
Yes, they can often be softened, though usually gradually and with more than one type of treatment.
Deep, long-standing lines may improve rather than disappear. The doctor will set realistic expectations.
Is there downtime with a combined plan?
Injections have no downtime. Light peels may bring redness and flaking for 1–7 days and medium peels typically 7–14 days; microneedling redness can last a few days, sometimes up to a week.
Treatments are timed around your work and events.
How much does anti-wrinkle treatment cost in Dubai?
The cost depends on the treatment area, the number of sessions and what your plan includes, so we don't publish a fixed price list.
You'll receive a clear, personalised quote at your consultation, before any treatment begins. You can also ask for a quote on WhatsApp.
