Why do cheeks lose volume with age?
From our 30s onwards, the fat pads in the cheeks gradually thin and move downwards, and the facial bones slowly change shape. The result is flatter cheeks, a less defined cheekbone and sometimes hollows below it. Because the mid-face supports the areas around it, this can make the whole face look more tired.

How should I prepare for cheek fillers, and what's the aftercare?
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment and tell the doctor about your medication. Afterwards, don't press on your cheeks or sleep face-down for the first nights, limit strenuous activity for 24 hours and avoid sun, saunas and heat while any temporary swelling or redness settles.
